2月13日，美國參議院以57：43，認定川普總統無罪，民主黨針對川普發起的第二次彈劾再次以失敗告終。川普週六發表書面聲明。 川普聲明全文翻譯我要首先感謝團隊專注的律師和其他人不知疲倦的工作，高舉正義、捍衛真相。
我也向美國國會裏，為我們國家心中尊為神聖法律原則的憲法挺身而出的參、眾議員致以最深的感謝。
我們所珍視的憲政共和國建立在公正的法治、對我們自由不可或缺的守護、我們的權利與各項自由基礎之上。
一個政黨玷污法治，污衊執法機構，為暴徒唱讚歌，將正義化作政治報復的工具，迫害、拉黑名單、取消、以及壓制所有他們所不認同的人或觀點，而這個政黨卻不被追究責任。這真是我們這個時代悲哀的註解。我過去和未來都將始終不渝地高舉不可動搖的法治、執法的英雄、以及美國人和平而有榮譽地辯論不同問題而不必擔心惡毒仇恨的權利。
這次（彈劾）已成為我們國家史上最大獵巫行動的又一個階段。從沒有任何總統有過這樣的遭遇。然而它還在繼續，因為我們的對手無法忘記那近7500萬人民——任何在任總統所獲得的最多選票——他們短短幾個月前投了我們的票。
我還要向數以百萬計的公民表達感激，他們努力工作、遵守法律、熱愛上帝和國家，在充滿挑戰而又十分艱難的時刻，仍然勇敢支持這些重要的原則。

Former President Donald Trump has issued a statement after his second impeachment trial failed at the senate with a vote 57-43 on Feb. 13. The full statementI want to first thank my team of dedicated lawyers and others for their tireless work upholding justice and defending truth. My deepest thanks as well to all of the United States Senators and Members of Congress who stood proudly for the Constitution we all revere and for the sacred legal principles at the heart of our country. Our cherished Constitutional Republic was founded on the impartial rule of law, the indispensable safeguard for our liberties, our rights and our freedoms. It is a sad commentary on our times that one political party in America is given a free pass to denigrate the rule of law, defame law enforcement, cheer mobs, excuse rioters, and transform justice into a tool of political vengeance, and persecute, blacklist, cancel and suppress all people and viewpoints with whom or which they disagree. I always have, and always will, be a champion for the unwavering rule of law, the heroes of law enforcement, and the right of Americans to peacefully and honorably debate the issues of the day without malice and without hate. This has been yet another phase of the greatest witch hunt in the history of our Country. No president has ever gone through anything like it, and it continues because our opponents cannot forget the almost 75 million people, the highest number ever for a sitting president, who voted for us just a few short months ago. I also want to convey my gratitude to the millions of decent, hardworking, law-abiding, God-and-Country loving citizens who have bravely supported these important principles in these very difficult and challenging times. Our historic, patriotic and beautiful movement to Make America Great Again has only just begun. In the months ahead I have much to share with you, and I look forward to continuing our incredible journey together to achieve American greatness for all of our people. There has never been anything like it! We have so much work ahead of us, and soon we will emerge with a vision for a bright, radiant, and limitless American future. Together there is nothing we cannot accomplish. We remain one People, one family, and one glorious nation under God, and it’s our responsibility to preserve this magnificent inheritance for our children and for generations of Americans to come.
